CV 35mm Ultron vs. 35 Color Skopar

I'm looking for a 35 mm lens for my M2. At the sort of money I can pay, Leitz lenses are out of court. So, has anyone run any comparisons between these two Voigtlander??

It would be great to hear your opinions!

They're both great, I have both, now packed for shipping. The Skopar has higher contrast, but I think the Ultron has a nicer rendering (IMHO) and an extra half stop of speed if you need it. My gallery is nearly all Skopar shots as the thing's so light and convenient.

Here is an older thread that was recently revived, wherein we discussed these two lenses.

I'm not aware of any direct comparisons. I have both, and prefer the Ultron, although it is bigger. The Skopar seems a little more contrastier to me, but I love its size. Both lenses are well made.

I recently was in the same boat, but went with the Skopar because I also valued the compactness of the lens. The Ultron looked like it would stick out too much and make my M6 front heavy... I do miss that extra speed though
