CV Contax/Nikon SC lens closeout/sale

Cameraquest just announced an end-of-life closeout sale on the SC lineup of lenses for Contax/Nikon.

Dang. Now I need to get some pennies together for that too... 😱 as I'd really like to get either the 28 or the 35 in contax mount.

Does anybody know if the 35/2.5 design is the same on that lens than on the LTM version.

I LOVE that lens, and I LOVE my Kievs 🙄

Pherdinand, the lenses that are listed as SC and are shorter than 50mm will work. The 50 and up were only available for the Nikon variation on the mount.

All I know is I really want one for my Kiev. 🙁

Oscar, I hear that the lenses are identical to their thread mount versions.

I have the 21mm on the Kiev. It's S-M-O-O-T-H, and focuses with the focusing wheel. Worked on the Nikon and of course, on the Kiev and I just used it for a roll of IR film (which I screwed up developing, but that's another story, involving stopping development for a sudden interlude- plain tap water DOES NOT completely stop development!)

I'd get 'em all, if I could. If I still had a Nikon, that 50mm f/1.5 really sounds great.
