After much thought I am seriously considering selling my Bessa cameras and lenses. It has been over a year since I have used them with the exception of two lenses used on a u4/3 body. It seems a shame to have them sitting around unused. I need to figure pricing. Does anyone know of a value estimator source where I can determine what I can expect to sell them for. I have already had an offer on the 3 bodies, seven lenses and a few accessories. If I decide not to accept the offer I will advertise the lot here on RFF.

Hi Mike,
Generally the best approach is a multi-approach.
Check completed ebay listings for used items that you own, look through alot of them, atleast 20 items to get a decent price figure.
Then i'd go to Keh or used department (online) stores like adorama and b&h and see what the items if for sale, are going for.
Lastly, i'd check this forum and others with classifieds and see what pricing they are selling for..
what this does is give you a general market price for said equipment and this will expedite selling process, aka not selling it for ridiculous amount that no one will buy it for.

Thanks for the information. I had an offer today I couldn't refuse. All of my Bessa gear is gone. I feel a bit of remorse, but the gear will be used as it should. I do have a couple of new lenses that I would otherwise not have been able to afford to help fill the empty space. The purchaser did not want any of the boxes. That surprised me. If any one needs any boxes for their LTM CV lenses or other CV items send me a PM. I will keep them for a couple of weeks before disposing of them.
