Has anyone noticed a reflection in your images when a really strong backlight is present? I'm scanning some slides from a recent trip and noticed the reflection of a window upside-down and off-center in more than one image. I'll try to post an example.

Thanks!

SC, and I was using a filter, that might explain it - I didn't notice it on any other film though so I was also wondering if it had anything to do with the slide film I was using. Probably not, but trying to eliminate variables. Thanks.

Could it be this? It's happened to me, wondering what caused it too. #1 the "Westwing" is on the right directly under the traffic light and #2 it's near center

I remember using a lens with a filter on it one night in a fairly dark room with strong corner lights ... the filter must have caught refelctions of the lights and they were duplicated towards the centre of the image. I couldn't work out what the hell was going on for a while until I remembered that'd I'd left the filter on the lens (35mm Hexanon) unintentionally.

The mystery may be solved, I'll try to replicate with and w/o the filter - Thanks for all your help! I was about to throw the baby out with the bathwater and get rid of my Nokton, can't have unfixable ghost reflection showing up.
