CV releasing Limited Edition CV 35mm/f1.2 Silver - 300 pieces only

I'm not a fan of silver myself.

I have a pristine silver 75VC I wish were black.

not really. CV had a limited 40 1.4 S.C limited edition that is now mass produced. lol

Yeah, I bought from the first run of the 40 1.4 S.C believing all the hype about it being a limited number run and thinking I got something special that might be a collector's item some day. Then due to "demand" they made more. Go figure.

In the end I was not all the enamored of the lens---wide open the bokeh is not great, and while sharp the lens' "fingerprint" I found to be nothing special or unique. I sold it.

They should be more honest and say it's 300 in the first run. If it sells well, then we'll make more...

I bought the Heliar 50/2.0 for $499.....now you can get them $100 cheaper new!!! This new lens will be selling used within a few weeks of it's release.

USELESS!
It is in M mount!
I really think Cosina is dropping the ball not releasing their lenses in LTM (include an M adapter if you need to and a small bottle of loctite!)

If a lens is fantastic in LTM it can and will be used by even the most devout M users (witness all of the CV LTM lenses that sold to M users.) If the lens is made only in M mount, it just makes CV lenses overall less valuable to those of us who have Barnackor early CV Bessas in our stables and WHY would any good Capitalist wish to limit and already small niche market!?

if I want the silver "look" I will put on my 28/1.9 UNLESS I can find somebody to trade me for a black 28/1.9 😀

You got a silver one? I'll trade you my black one. I didn't even know Cosina made silver ones.

The bessa R does not have a rf good enough to really focus a f1.2 lens, and it's too huge to use on a Barnack since it will block the rf window..
Are there any currently produced LTM bodies?

Can we Nikon people have half of these silver lenses in Nikon mount?
That's fair, ain't it? you Leica people get 150 and we Nikon fans get the other 150.
OK,OK, we can live with a hundred!!
