Hello all!
I have a CV Ultron 28/f2 lens (coded as a Summicron) on my Leica M8 with a Leica Infrared filter on it. With the lens detection setting on "on" I get not vignetting at all (not even at f2). When I switch it to "on + UV/IR" there is just a tiny bit of vignetting to be found (at f2).
My question now is: If I leave the setting on "on" without the UV/IR detection, will I get cyan drift in the corners?
(Forgive me if this question has been asked and answered already, but I can't seem to find the relevant thread...)

I've got the f/1.9 version and get no cyan drift or vignetting with UV/IR set to "ON" (which is left permanently in that position). But there seem to be some other performance differences between the lenses so YMMV.
Is there a reason you can't just try it and see?

Thanks for your reply! I just didn't want to run into any surprises. Can't test in daylight at the moment and there are very smart people in this forum...
