Is there a manual or blow-up diagram? The front part of mine rattles.
I took it part this afternoon, but could only get so far (I got the focussing ring off, but the aperture ring was reticent.) What's the next step? I NEED to be using this lens!

Hey, Chris - if you decide to have the thing retightened yourself, can you photograph each step and post here a visual DIY guide? I would really appreciate it!

WOW! I just completed the repair! That was EXACTLY the issue.
Alkos, sorry, I didn't see your post until I came back here to report success. It's pretty straight forward, and perhaps I will go through the take down procedure again at some point in the near future to retighten, as I did not put any locking compound on the screws that loosen. The set up is just like it says in Chrles Barcellona's write up. One thing I did wrong, is I munged one of the screws on the first level. They are all philips #00 screws, and I used a #0 at first. After dremelling a slot into the screw head so I could remove it, I went to Ace to get a #00 philips driver. Everything else came out just fine, the loose screws are obvious, and the ball he talks about is tiny, smaller than a millimeter.
