Keep the finder safely positioned in relation to the lens while in a case or bag, and so it won't fall out by itself...

Stick one side (eg the hook/fuzzy side) adhesive-backed velcro on the top of your viewfinder and stick the other side (eg the loop/harder side) on your rear lens cap.
Makes a nice, secure, compact package inside a lens bag. Did it with my CV25. Works great.

I read about this on Stephen Gandy's CVUG mail group.

Impulse purchase. Last year I bought a 4' pack of "industrial strength" Velcro from Home Depot.

It just gathered dust, lay fallow, cluttered a drawer. I had no use for it until viewfinder idea from CVUG. Now I'm excited, scouring my world, looking for opportunities for Velcro 😀

"...looking for uses for Velcro..."

Have you seen the late night show (David Letterman I think) bit with a Velcro wall, a Velcro suit, and a mini-tramp? 🙂
