CV15 f/4.5 on ZM Ikon - vignetting?

No, just the shallow CV hood, though with a UV/IR filter attached (for M8 use) held in place by a rubber O ring.
I suspect the problem may be I stopped down too far - to at least f/11 if I recall?

This has to be 100% due to the filter. There's no way on Earth that a CV15mm should do that at any aperture on a 35mm camera.

The lens was fine on the rest of the trip with the M8 - the filter can't really be easily removed so I'll just not use it with the ZM.
My main issue with these Fuji Acros 100 shots from Switzerland is that once again Ilford's scans seem to have massive contrast, despite my asking them not to do any PP with the scans. I'll get some prints to check.

The filter on the m8 would not be a problem due to the crop factor on the m8 sensor. The problem comes into play when shooting full frame.

Yes, I confirm, on my Ikon this lens with its standard mini hood does not vignette at all. It is the filter.

Are you using a Leica filter, or B+W or some other? What is the O-ring setup?

that is your filter, on the m8 you dont see it because of 1.3x crop where the filter is just outside of your pictures, then when on a "full frame" body it will show up, no mystery here.

Yes, this must be the reason. I only took these two shots with this combination so no real disaster.
I think it's a B+W filter, it needs to be held in with an O ring as no other way, a common method when used with the M8 as obviously it needs a UV/IR filter with that body.
I have it coded as a Leica WATE via the adaptor, which is milled with pits. It did perform well with the M8:

The new M mount version is the lens for you then. Takes 52mm filters as standard and easy to remove when on your ZM.

As a follow up - I assume that the newish Leica 24mm Elmar f/3.8 with UV/IR would not vignette if mounted on the ZI?
