Is there not some bicycle racer from Greenville? The name "George Hincapie" comes to mind. I seem to remember him riding many times in this big race over in France. In fact, I think he had a major part in determining the winner quite frequently.

Hincapie is a racers racer! Never got his due from the (unknowing) public but he has the respect of his peers and is a piston machine to boot.
