A Czech friend of mine and gallery owner brought a Czech photographer to the shop. His name is Frantisek Chrastek .web site is www.chrastek.com If you have time take a look ,however if you are at work be warned there are a few photographs of nudes. Sometimes when I think I will pull the plug and retire a very interesting person will walk in and then I'm glad to be still working.Enjoy the day. regards,Bill

I didn't knew of him, thanks for the link. I'll go "czech" his website now ;-) Pretty interesting, since I've met a few czech photographers & worked in a cultural institution before in Prague, these last 5 years. You always learn something new everyday

My workstation had to be replaced after a hard disk failure back at the beginning of the year so lost all my bookmarks! Since then I use Firefox offsite bookmarks and don't have that problem.
I really like many of the Czech photographers. If anyone else has links to any I would love to get them offline to see if they are any that I had before.

I liked his pictures. The photographer really uses color.
It's always nice to see work from other countries. It's funny - seeing the work of other photographers lets me see their part of the world. Even for a studio photographer. I can't help imagining what the studio looks like, what kind of building it's in, based on just the carefully planned shots.
I think I judge the images of my fellow citizens more harshly, but that's probably because I see so much of it that even the good work can look trite. I don't see so much from the "outside," so I can appreciate when it comes
