D-76 exposed to air overnight

As the thread title says, I mixed a liter of D-76 last night and I wanted to let it cool off before putting the cap back on. I got distracted and went to bed. I wake up about 7 hours there was to container, sitting on the counter with the cap off.

Is it OK to use? If not, I will just dispose of it.

I know that developer oxidizes quickly and I would rather not take any chances, but if someone can tell me it's fine I will try it!

7 hours is nothing, it will be ok

It will be fine. D76 is a long lasting developer in stock solution i.e. not diluted.

You're fine. D76 is very resilient.

I agree. Assuming the liter bottle has a narrow neck, there was very little surface exposed to the air, which would be another factor.

I predict it will be fine.
