Nikon China announcement

With respect to the phenomenon where the image of granular black multiple visible on captured images captured digital single-lens reflex camera with "D600", the people of stakeholders customers, and suppliers retailers that Dai was your favorite, the inconvenience and worry apologize in or per that you have put you.

Seems, 1, cleaning sensor is useless, it'll come back,
2, shutter assembly replacement is useless, debris came back

Nikon Japan, China, not inc Taiwan (what about Chinese Taipei?)
will replace d600 w d610 or higher model (did not say how much to pay)
if your d600 had two or more repair trips to Nikon Service and must be a Nikon Imported model (Hong 行貨, not Water 水貨)

People paid $2,190 for the camera in Taiwan...no one dares to use the 600 to shoot weddings...

Just saw a posting in another forum. D600 camera back clean with another 1000 or so shutter actuations. Owner commented that they seemed to have tested or run the camera a bit. Strictly FWIW.

Nothing on mine since the nice confirmation of receipt at Nikon USA on April 4, two weeks ago.

I've heard of some folks that got a brand new D610 out of the deal. Those could have been the early program respondents, before production of new shutters kicked into high gear. So, if they put a new shutter in your camera, will it also have the enhanced Frames Per Second of the D610?

Camera is back in my hands after 2 1/2 weeks. Looks perfect. Nikon replaced the shutter mechanism and cleaned the sensor. Shutter I believe has a different sound, a bit muted and more solid. Camera works fine. Time will tell whether any of the dust problems come back, but at this point I'm very pleased with the customer initiative by Nikon.

I hope it works out well for you.
My D800 have the same oil splatter from the shutter problem. It was sent to Nikon twice for repair but they did nothing but clean the sensor. It is still a problem and I have to clean the sensor for about every 150 to 200 activations.
Will never buy a new camera from Nikon again and I have been a Nikon user for more than 40 years.
