Very much so. The way it worked was that there was 50+ sheets on the wall to choose from. Each sheet of the book was a pair of images (front and back of sheet). You choose 20 sheets from the 50+ and end up with a 40 page book. You could also choose between two silkscreened covers, one was purple and one was black. They were silkscreening the covers and hanging them to dry while you waited.
Although I didn't always love the pairing of images, I've very happy with the book and the process of choosing and sequencing images was fun.
It was well worth the $75 bucks for a custom, limited edition, signed book and the pleasure of hanging out, having a drink or two and choosing the images. Daido was there autographing books and hanging around. There were also some giant prints of his earlier work hanging on the walls for sale for $10,000. Unfortunately, I forgot my checkbook.
