I don't know if this is the right place, but I just wanted to put another reco for Don Goldberg (DAG). As I had mentioned in a previous thread, my P had taken a collision with a cyclist and needed body focus adjustment (as well as my Ultron needing some repairs).

Don was very helpful - explained his findings and the repairs he was making over the phone. Made them quickly (and for less than I expected) - then shipped the camera back to me even before I had sent payment.

That type of service, trust and courtesy is almost non-existent anymore - but it is well appreciated, and I wanted to share that with you all.

Running a roll through it today (and testing my new 50 1.2 as well). I anticipate all will go swimmingly (And just plain happy to have my favorite 35mm back in my hands).

I've had Don work on both my Leicas.. he does extremely good work, answers emails promptly, and is very honest and straightforward about what needs to be done

I once had Don adjust the shimming on an old Zeiss Sonnar lens. Another well-known repair shop informed me that the lens was messed up and that it would be "cost prohibitive" to repair it.

Don did the job. Later on, he asked me to send it back to him to clean it inside since I did not make my wish clear to him up front, and then he got the lens again for reshimming for no extra charges. Now the lens is wonderful.
