Hi RFFers,
A handful of film shooters in the area would like to meet up next Saturday, 10th of April, 2010.
Location:
Twisted Root Burger Co.
Dallas, TX
2615 Commerce St. (in Deep Ellum)
Dallas, TX 75226
214-741-ROOT (or 7668 for the bad spellers)
Deep Ellum is a couple of square block area near Downtown Dallas.
Time is being nailed down as of now, either 10am or 11am. I'll post a definite one later on.
Let me know if you're planning to attend, this is going to be fun.

Ya'll oughta' invite foam seal guru Jon Goodman (ebay-Interslice)--he lives in Dallas (as I recall, Casa Linda area) and one fine, knowledgeable guy! I was born/raised in "Big D", and lived most of my adult life in Houston.

The photo-walk is quite a success, ten of us showed up and we mill around the Deep Ellum district in downtown Dallas, TX.
Fun was had by all, film shooters from all background. Although I missed the supposedly awesome burger at the end of the walk.
* Not too far from the starting point...
* In this area, artworks, kitsch, utilitarian structures blend.
* We got all kinds of camera styles represented, from old folders, TLRs, Rangefinders, SLR, Toy and yes, even a couple of digitals.
* How's this for a busy scene, huh?
