Damage , what would you do ?

Mint camera with a big ding. Stay off E bay. You must demand a total refund and I would contact Paypal and leave negative rating. Get your money first

I've noticed that when a seller thinks they didn't get enough money in the auction, they are very reluctant to pack the item properly. I've gotten a couple of cameras where it was just chucked into a box, no packing whatsoever.

I bought a Canon 25/3.5 LTM lens on eBay for $55, and it arrived in the mail in an unpadded manila envelope! Thing is, though, that was a buy-it-now price, so it wouldn't make sense that the packing was an expression of pique at the low sale price.....

I'm just sick , bought this camera , and was damaged in shipment , at list I think so , only packaging was bubble wrap. This thing was Mint . :bang:

I don't know what to do , keep it and hope to find another for the top plate or send it back and ask for a refund . paid $107.00 for it off the bay.

You are obviously unhappy with the damage to the camera. Send it back, get a full refund and look for another undamaged camera from an ethical seller.

I can't say for sure, but it does sound like it was damaged before it was shipped to you.
