It does not work the way it supposed to. That's OK. I have many settings on firewall and it is possible, that something is blocked. I think so as I have same problems with other forums.

It looks like you've got all the essentials to start printing.

It's not visible in the picture, but a good enlarging lens is very important. When I first started printing I had a cheap Rodenstock Rogonar. Later, I bought a Rodenstock Rodagon...what a difference. Now I use a 50/2.8 EL-Nikkor for 35mm and a 80mm Schneider Componon for 6x6 negatives, both of which are great.

Equally important is the parallel adjustment of film, lens and print plane. It's very common that enlargers are out of alignment, so I would definitely check for alignment problems.

Not essential, but still nice to have is a bigger easel, so that you can put those big trays (which look like 40x50cm) to good use. 4 blade easels will allow you to vary border sizes around the image and will give a clean look to the print. They can be a bit expensive but a well made one is a very good investment.
