Alas, I fear you are correct.

Jorge no. I just started this B&W stuff. Develop my own negatives and print my own pics. It can't go away. I am having way too much fun!

Indeed David! Just started it not to long ago myself. Made my first set of half decent prints a few weekends ago. Very cool. I think I'll stick with the RC paper though, gosh the fiber wash times are wayyyy to long. Is fiber that much better than RC?
Hey how are you drying your prints? I had a really old bloter book i was using, but it left slight watermarks on the page. I was looking for another one at the camera store the other day but the guy there said that blotter books were only for fiber, you can set the RC prints anywhere to dry like your bed.
Well, I don't think the Mrs. will go for that but is it true?

Scott, as for drying - for fiber prints, you should get a dryer - they're dirt cheap! For RC prints (which is what I mostly do), just lay them face up on a spread newspaper overnight... *Don't* put them on the bed

I put mine in the oven on the oven rack.
No, the oven is off. Yes, I turned it on once to speed up the drying and melted my contact sheets.
Fiber will be used in my next class. I need to keep practicing my printing methods, so I will keep the board posted.

Hmmm, oven rack, there's an idea. Haven't been in the oven in a while. Will have to check and see how dirty it is/isn't.

Yeah, I leave the door open and the light in there makes it nice and warm. I squeegee(sp?) them off before I put them in there. The wet ones go on the bottom rack as they dry, I move them up 1 rack then put the more fresh ones back on the bottom.
