Canada, eh.
Pictured here is the fruit of my labours last night in a 4 hour darkroom printing session which finished a t 3am. Not a bad haul! Results are from my new to me Leica M6 and vers.3 50mm Summicron taken in Kensington Market last Saturday.

Very nice, Frank. I am envious. I wish I could do that 😉

Somehow, printing off my inkjet doesn't do as much for me.

Is that with FB or RC paper, Allen? I only bother with FB if I'm doing something very special and only after it's been printed on RC so I know it's good.

I just tried something goofy: I held the viewer of my 25mm CV lens in front of my digi camera and took a picture of my darkroom. For the second shot I put the camera on a tripod and turned on my table lamp. This is where the magic happens, guys. Can you say: "Clutter"?

I'll also have to do a printing session this week, to make the prints for my swap-partner Joe - still haven't decided whether to do some liths, or regular prints - maybe both, and then choose the better results...
About clutter: my old darkroom looked like that - now I'm printing in our kitchen, so I always have to clean up afterwards (and most of my friends don't ask any longer what that strange apparatus in the kitchen corner is (my Meopta Magnifax 4)).

ah roman,
this swap is turning out to be a major learning for me.
i sent off a file to have printed and it turned out great except when i noticed that they cut off the bottom & top of the image.
it's back to the scanner and then photoshop to figure out how to get the right size file to print full frame.

the good thing is i've decided to have a larger print made than i had originally thought.

wish me luck.

Yah...but I don't know if my printer will fit in his "delivery truck."
