Checking out her newly inherited Nikon FE on a nature walk outside Ottawa. Taken with
my Welta Weltur on home developed Fuji Pro160. Hope my eldest has half as much fun as I had with that camera. Peter

New Generation of Film Photographers?

About a year ago, I was thinking about selling some of my trusty Olympus OM equipment. Fortunately, I decided not to. My daughter has shown some interest in taking photos and enjoys using a Olympus OM-2n and Tamron SP 35-80 lens that I let her use. We've gone on several photo excursions and always have a great time. I recently have been working on developing and scanning a large backlog of exposed rolls and just scanned a roll that my daughter took during a winter excursion to Gateway National Wildlife Refuge in NYC. She took some nice shots, an example of which is posted below, along with some pics I took of her looking around and using the camera.

I'd never seen this thread before, but it's certainly the best thing I've seen all day. I'm going to beg indulgence and post a bunch at once because I think it's fun to see us grow up together. My daughter:

The last was in January before she headed back to the second semester of her sophomore year at college.
