David Alan Harvey in Rio for Nat Geo

He's got a spread coming out in this month's magazine.

What do you guys think?

Some of these may be M9 shots, but I really have no way of knowing.

I know he uses a variety of cameras these days--iPhone to D700.

I saw a video of him shooting in Rio (done by his son) where he is using the M9 some.

So, some Leica shots may have creeped in.

Yea, I'm aware of this project.

However, I think these are parallel projects, and I think these photos don't appear in the Rio book.

Some photos are very similar, like the goal keeper at the beach or the kissing couple for example. I don't have the book so I can't check if they are the same photos or just different frames from the same set. The book and the Nat Geo reportage definitely share the same spirit.

I guess I should get both. 😉

actually, he was advertising a $5 access to his blog about 3-6months (?) ago. He used a Canon Powershot for most of the pics. Goes to show it's not the gear 🙂
