South China Morning Post released this beautiful mini documentary about David Chan, who is a living legend in the Hong Kong camera industry. He's spent decades buying and selling Leica, Hasselblad, and everything else under the sun. I went past his shop in Champagne Court back in 2013, and the windows were packed with gear. M3's stacked in the windows like books, rows of Contax G1s and G2s, a black chrome MP a la carte with black croc skin leather cover, it's all there.

Amazing and really touching
I have the same attitude toward vintage cameras: they are "works of art" by which you can possibly create art.
And Nikon F is a Japan national treasure.
Quite true!!
(I bookmarked it because I think I will watch it many more times)

I would love to browse in that place. Or maybe not. I would probably see things I would like to buy and I have too many cameras and accessories now.
Thanks for sharing.

Yes, me too. I searched for a website and not sure if he has one because I recently developed Diax and Edixa gas.

Here are a few more videos about David and his incredible shop. Glad you guys are getting a kick out of this!

Just imagine visiting this place, you'd have to tell the wife to go shopping for a day.
BigheadTaco has a number of videos about David and camera shopping in Champagne Court. That location is almost ridiculous in that it has an equal number of secondhand luxury watch shops. In that same arcade, there are shops festooned with Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Panerai, and everything else you can think of.

And a few videos about camera shopping in Hong Kong in general.

Champagne Court is gone… I personally saw some of the demolition in action. David Chan Co has moved across the street. The neighboring shops… dunno.
