Dead M8 Update

Spoke to my dealer this morning (Photo Design Studio in Devon UK). He has since spoken to Leica UK who are based in Milton Keynes (MK) which is fairly local to me (15 miles). Upshot is that I will drop the camera off this afternoon (already had another appointment in MK). They have a shipment due in on Thursday and I will pick a new one up from MK on Friday. Fingers crossed that this happens as I am off on holiday for a week from next Saturday and it would be nice to have an M8 to use.

I don't know about the UK, but I do know that here in the states, Leica dealers treat their customers in exactly the way Gid was treated! The premium for Leica is on customer service, and no, I have no connection with the company. Just a happy customer.
