Someday, I found a white pixel in the center of my pictures.

So, I remembered that there is a menu about dead pixel.

But, I did dead pixel correction function without lens cap attachment.

According to user's manual, the correction without lens cap may correct alive pixel instead of dead one.

How can I fix this problem ?

plz help me.

I think there is no need to worry. I'm certain I have done this in the past (no lens cap) on my R-D1 with the upgraded firmware to R-D1s, as there are no instructions on this in my manual as it wasn't available in the earlier firmware.

Dead pixels seem corrected OK and I have never noticed any adverse effects to live ones.

Hello, by the way do you think that it makes any sense to select ISO 1600, instead of a lower ISO, before launching the hot pixel correction?
Thanks for your advice.

Thats what I do as any stuck/dead pixels are more obvious at this ISO.
