Very good deal on one of the best lenses ever made (no connection to the seller) but I might be that somebody here could be happy.. great price, for good user condition

unfortunately he doesn't ship to europe, and there's no way to contact the seller, so it's out for me, if you're in n.america or canada get it while it lasts...
if you buy this, please consider to buy my S3 (y2002) black body from the classifieds, which is the perfect couple for this lens

but the post says 'There are numerous marks on the front glass. There is also some fogging on one of the inner elements'??
The pics don't look so bad though...

One thing to look for in this particular lens is separation in between the real elements. the 1.8 is notorious for it.

rear element seperation
rear element seperation
"One thing to look for in this particular lens is separation in between the real elements. the 1.8 is notorious for it."
only way to see it, is to look at the rear element out in the bright sunlight, I bought one through an auction house that had great photos but the lights were diffused, separation did not show up. was not able to return it. ask the seller to look at the lens in the bright sunlight or ask them what their return policy is if their is separation,

judging from the pictures, the lens is rather under-rated with straight-forward desctription probably to avoid returns, looks like a very good BGN user to me/close to EX- condition to me, for sure a great user lens to carry everywhere (I've seen much worse condition than this one selling weigh over 1k which were rated EX+ )
