Dealer COLLECTIBLE CAMERAS IN az

Hi,
I was just there yesterday. Nice guys, small'ish shop, good selection. I went in for a Leica 5cm finder said to be in Exc. shape. Well we must have different standards of Exc.

But seem like nice guys. They are the ones that got me hooked on Leica. I went in there looking for a $300 Contax and was shown a M3 for $800. Wow I thought, $800 !! That's a lot for an old camera.

Well now (6 months later) I have a new old stock M6ttl, M winder, 35 'Cron, 50 DR, 50 Canon 1.2, 90 'cron, 135 Canon ... So maybe you should stay out of there!!!

Anyway, Good Luck!

Steve

I agree, they are nice guys. But I have gone there only for some relatively inexpensive items, so I wasn't given any hard sell. I have traded with them and you would do better selling your camera on your own. I traded out of convenience.

I emailed them a couple of times about some items they had listed on their web page for quite some time. They took several days to reply and then said they didn't have the item (same answer both times.) I guess they don't update their website very often.

I have too bought from the on several occasions, just bought a lens hood and had bought from them when I was deployed to Iraq. They remembered me from only emails and asked if I was still in the military. Also mailed me the hood by USPS instead of UPS to save me money on shipping. They have also taken money off or thrown in something on several occasions when I bought something. They will also "negotiate" with you a bit on some items.

My employer's home office is in Phoenix, and I have been able to stop in a couple of times while traveling. Nice folks, very helpful, even when I was just browsing or spending just a couple of bucks. Class act.

Paid a fair (retail) price for a nice coated Elmar 50/3.5. Was worth (to me) spending the extra to get a good one.

I purchased my olive Bessa R2 from Sandy several years ago. Camera was exactly as described. Prices are certainly higher than eBay, but he's a good guy and gave me a break on the price. Don't be afraid to make a deal.

I`ve been buying their rarer "wartime" Leica gear from them for a couple of years now, great service, you pay a little bit more, but the quality is always very high, I just bought a 45' Leica IIIC K Grey from them a few weeks ago...... 😀

I frequent their site and not too long ago I got an 85 Serenar f2 for a very reasonable price. I questioned Sandy and he said it was a solid 9+ so I got it and it's at least 9+.Very clean glass and cosmetically fair.
