any deals on 35mm B&W film.. anyone..
we should leave the economic exploitation debates for an other forum.
 
it's not exploitation:) it's the natural evolution of a consumer society and free market.

The typical cost of one 36 exp roll of Kodak color infra-red film is around $25.
I found it as 20 rolls for less than $100 shipped. That's $5/roll.

Anyone interested?

I used to use the USAW (not USA) tri-x bulk film. That was $30 so it's like 1.70 a 36exp roll. Now it seems like no more USAW kodak anymore. Everywhere it is like $45-50 for 100' film. Is this the cheapest we can get for tri-x 35mm?
 
Dx: Unless it's short-dated or out-dated, I haven't found anything much cheaper ... $42 at the Kodak (employee) store. Freestyle seems to have the best US pricing if you don't have to pay sales tax, i.e. shipped to a non-California address.

I'd be interested in a group buy to get some economy of scale, but no one seems to be interested.
 
I found this seller on ebay: collect888, he had quite a lot of negative feedback recently. Has anybody ever dealt with him?

He is the only one with Ilford SFX200 (auction number: 270050262906), it 's quite pricey but concidering Ilford is not producing this film anymore, it might be a good deal.

What do you think?

I already bought them some film last year, they were expired Ilford Delta 3200 120 format and were pretty good. I contacted them regarding the SFX200, I hope they have some.

I just ordered expired Optima Agfa 400-speed color print film (36) from Adorama for $1.75 a roll. Expiration date is January of this year. Obviously clearing out their inventory. Was 3.75 a roll. This should work well for you overseas buyers.
 
walgreens here in tampa bay area has buy 1 get 1 free 4 packs of walgreens rebranded ( fuji?) iso400 for 9.00. I'm not sure if some would consider that a deal or not...
 
PJs! Just got 15 rolls E100 from one of my PJ friends and 10 rolls HP5 and 15 FP4 from another.

Kodak 400UC and BW400CN sale at CVS

I just returned from my local CVS Pharmacy and emptied out their stock of unexpired 400UC and BW400CN pro films that are now 50% regular price:

$7.00 for a 3 pack (3x36 exposure) 400UC.
$6.00 for a 3 pack (3x24 exposure) BW400CN.

Looks like CVS is dumping their stock of these two awesome films...
