Dear rick oleson, & dear all: A Nikon Angle Finder DR-3 Problem.

AFAIK, the DR-3's «tube can be rotated through 360°, and has click stops at 90° intervals.» —— My DR-3

looks pristine, but: it has a very sluggish rotation, and I cannot feel any click stops at 90°.

Is there any way —— save complete disassembly —— to assess what may be wrong and what I perhaps can do?
