A B&W only version of the GRD based on the sensor in the Sony RX100 would be greatly appreciated.

So do the Ricoh managers and designers in Ginza surf the RFF during their lunch breaks?

There was a rumor of a B&W only GRD last year.

I thought they all already were
(I know mine stays firmly in BW).

Sure would be... though I don't mind color as well.

I will buy a Ricoh for b&w, actually my GRD IV is just shot in B&W.

My GXR Mount is set to B&W while shooting RAW. As a result the finder and LCD view is in B&W, while the image is recorded in color.
I can recommend it to anyone, it's very easy to find your darks and lights in pictures while the image can be used in color after all. Or set back to B&W when processing the image on the Mac after all!
Don't know if this can be set on the GRD as well, if so you really should give it a try!
