Pixii has walked up to the company that pretty much established today's current camera form and who has been doing it for nearly a century and said, "I can do that, and better." The French have challenged the German established order and those in it. But put all that aside. It looks like an interesting camera and shows promise. I will have two weeks to decide if I agree.
This does remind me of the old lyrics, "They all laughed at Christopher Columbus when he said the world was round/They told Marconi wireless was a phony . . . "
Pros: First adopters are pleased. They display good photos.
Cons: Non-owners decry the camera as false. They display poor form.
I have more faith in the owners than the non-owners.
