deardorff 8x10 owners

I have bought a deardorff 8x10 v8 in pieces stored boxed for years. I'm restoring.
I stripped the lacquer leaving the original color replaced with nitrocellulose lacquer . Wood work is done. Now I'm replating nickel over half done. I think it was satin finish.

Washers what are the order? one large against the standard then smaller? is there a spring washer on every knob? a washer against the knob?

Dry fitting freshly nickel plated parts. I suspect 1 washer on each side plus 1 against the knob. Help needed

I've worked on it for months nice fresh lacquer able to flex with temperature and humidity changes to resist cracking sprayed on 5 coats semi gloss finish. Most of the nickel was peeling replated nickel I think 3 washer to screw just not sure. Need to be sure before I fold over the top thread.
