Deep-element wides on Hexars

Does anyone have any problems using very deep element wide-angle lenses on their Hexar? I'm speaking specifically of the Russar 20mm as I'm thinking of purchasing one, but would be interested in the thoughts/experiences of using other such lenses on the camera.

Hmmm, J-12 fits my Hexar RF. It's 35mm but sits deep. It doesn't fit my R2 for example.
