i am not keen on spreading rumours, and i wish it was just that. but sadly

camera bellows UK, whom i think have been than best in every way supplier of bellows, whether it be for folder cameras or larger format camera are ceising buisness (efective now, so they say). Veronica (from c/bellows) said to me that Tony may continue with some services next January. i hope it is true as they are the undisputed best in the trade. even if there are others, it is a sad day to hear of a company that produces fine products ceasing buisness.:mad::mad:

This is sad new indeed. However, I am glad that I have got 2 from them a couple of months ago for my Super Isolette. I have fitted one and am keeping the other one as reserve.

Sad when any trusted provider goes away. Did they say if it was the economy or have they just decided to quit for some other reason?

i wasnt lead to believe it is the curent upset in the economy, but more so that they just wernt making enough money and didnt see any evidence that there will be any increase in demand for their bellows products.

the lady that i spoke with said she would keep me informed if a bloke named Tony does take up the job and produce them early next year. a glimmer of hope!

i am under the impression that their company (camera bellows UK) is tied up with a couple of other companies. and this part of their company is perhaps not making enough money so it has now ended. So i would hope now that perhaps this Tony Eaton ( no guarantee just hoping) will start a new bellows supply company, seperate from the parent companies. as possibly its easier to do it that way to avoid red tape. I hope he does at any rate.

I have a minesix 66, agfa record and isolette that needs bellows. I was planning on ordering from them again in January. I hope they still make bellows.

Well, now they are gone, we are going to have to track down the guys who make C6's bellows and find out if they make them in black.
