Designers of early 90s' lenses

I'm trying to establish whether certain lenses are Mandler or Karbe designs or perhaps by someone else. Sometimes Wiki or L-Camera-Forum are ambiguous where a lens is revised for a new version.

Lenses I'm not sure about:
28/2.8 Elmarit-M v.4 E46 1993. (Last non-aspherical 28/2.8)
90/2.8 Elmarit-M 11807 E46 1990 (successor to Tele-Elmarit)

Also: are early ASPH designs all by Karbe?
Thinking of 21/2.8 ASPH, 28/2 ASPH, 35/1.4 ASPH pre-FLE.

One that you mentioned and that I had and loved comes to mind. 35/1.4 ASPH was designed by Walter Watz (not Mandler or Karbe).

The 28mm Summicron was designed by Michael Heiden.
