Detents on Metz/Agfa/Braun flash heads?

Does anyone have an idea of how to tighten the swivel head on a Metz/Agfa/Braun flash (the same OEM makes all of them) with a barrel-shaped head (like a 38CT-3; the picture is of my Agfa 643CS monster)? The detents seem fine; it just seems there is insufficient tension on them.

I don't get the sense that taking the flash apart from the bottom is the way to access the relevant bolts. On my flash, it does look like an excellent way to be able to accidentally touch an 8" x 1.5" capacitor.

I can see that there are two round plastic covers on either side of the head that look like they could take a pin spanner, but I'm not sure whether they actually pop off.

Thanks!

These were all Metz-made. All-plastics, if you are lucky, it has dislodged internally and a reassembly will sort out matters. But I doubt that anything can tighten it once worn loose. Perhaps high-friction grease will improve matters - but it might be hard to determine whether that is plastics-safe in the long run...

Thanks Sevo! I figured they have a lot of plastic. The head is not really loose but does have enough mass that if you swing the flash, you can swing the head out of position. Unit doesn't have enough use on it to look like it would be worn out inside.

I think the answer here might be a little bit of rubber tape between the two swiveling parts.
