ricnak's boot photo is a gorgeous composition and "print."
 
Paul, if I seem to have an unfair advantage, trust me that it's only temporary. We just had our annual trash day where folks could put anything other than chemicals out to the curb (well, actually, we don't have curbs). So, it was a weekend long bonanza of interesting junk. The junk is gone now. So, it's back to shooting dead critters for me. And, yes, there's some great images here from furcafe, ricnack and greyelm.

My wife once found a dead body on the west side off one of the piers on the Hudson. When she called the cops, their response was, "Yeah, we get these all the time. Is it bloated yet? We'll send somebody for it."
