Developer suggestions for T-grain films

Has Betterscanning ever made such a diffuser pane for any of the Coolpix scanners?

Not as far as I know. I do have their glass inserts for the V750 for when a film isn't held flat enough by the film holder.

your suggestion to add exposure and to develop for a shorter time (pulling) - do you suggest this to obtain lower film contrast?

Yes but I expect you already know that decreasing development also reduces film speed so it's necessary to increase exposure to compensate.

In summary, I agree with the suggestions that you do some tests using, say, TMY in Xtol 1+1 for Kodak's recommended time as a starting point.

Thank you everybody for all the valuable information and your kind help!

BTW, I have opened a separate thread in the Scanner section about solutions to the Callier effect in Coolscan scanners.
