Hello,
I would like to start developing my negatives at home and I'm using mainly Fuji Neopan Acros 100, HP5+, Tri-X 400 and Delta 3200...
I actually have 2 rolls of Neopan 100 Acros and 2 rolls of Delta 3200, what is in your opinion the best combination I can try for those, and eventually if there's a possibility to use just one set of chemicals for developing both ?
Same for the stopping and fixing baths ... what are your opinions?
Thanks a lot!
Max

The same stop and fix can be used for all films - don't worry about that. The developer...is trickier, since the two films are pretty different.
Depending on how you exposed the Delta 3200 and how discerning you are (or are not) of the end results, you could use D76 for both. D76 generally isn't good for high speed films, but you can get away with it, probably more so if it's diluted.
Otherwise, you might consider something like XTOL or DDX. I generally see these as being recommended as an across-the-board developer.

DDX works perfectly for both. Development times are different though.
Same with Xtol
Sorry to rain on this parade but Delta3200 and Diafine don;t get along very well, the max speed you get is 1200

thank you all
I will soon make a stop to the shop ... I'll tell you all how it went! But i'm still open for more suggestions! It looks like how to prepare pasta in Italy : a recipe per "mamma"

A while ago, someone made a comment on PN about how there is a weird Diafine revival. It's weird because Diafine is good for some stuff, but it's not great for everything. For instance, just because it lets you shoot TXT all over the place yet give good results doesn't mean you can do this with every film.

I agree, and IMHO deltas and tmaxes don;t do very well in Diafine.
Another reason of these revival, besides conveninece, i sthat Diafine negatives seem to scan very well.

A convenient concentrate developer that would work with all of these is Kodak HC-110. Kodak XTOL is also good if you don't mind mixing from powder.
You don't need a stop bath -- plain water is fine for film. Any decent fixer, e.g., Ilford Rapid Fixer, will work on all the films.

I have used 35mm acros 100 and roll film 120 D3200 both developed in Paterson FX50 with excellent results. I would also be confident in DDX.

So you guys tend to go towards DDX, Xtol or HC110... I didn't find HC110 (I was first going for HC110 then XTOL) but they had XTOL. But I was lacking some time and I didn't want to spend too much money on this.. since I'll have to go in Paris in 15 days for a week [administrative exams -- ministry of foreign affairs] and also that my dad had a serious cardiac problem last week (he's in hospital now and doing better) I just dropped the negs at my usual lab (they do great job) and I will consider doing my negs at home probably next month [well I'll have to return in southeast of France to see my family for Xmas and my father already wants a Pentacon Six + Sonnar 180/2.8]
I thank you all immensely and I'm still all ears open *giggles*
