Developing two different films at the same time.

So at the moment I have 1 roll each of Tri-X and Neopan 400 lying around and because I'm extremely lazy, I was wondering if it's possible to develop them both in the same tank? I consulted the Massive Dev Chart and developing times are similar for both films in XTOL 1:1, but was wondering if the different emulsions would maybe screw up the developing process?

Under duress I have done different films at the same time, but in
DIXACTOL available from Photographers' Formulary. I've also done it for stand processing, but only when exposed for such.

If the images aren't terribly important, this is your chance to experiment.

As long as the times are the same, it's OK. I've done it lots of times.

Thanks for all the advice. Both rolls are drying in the bathroom as we speak.
