My normal thing is PanF or HP5+ souped in DD-X but all this recent chatter on 2 shot developers has me willing to play. I already have some Diafine brought to me by a family member during her recent visit...

my question in this: what's the difference between Diafine & Acufine?

Also, does anyone know of a place that ships developers overseas (and no, Adorama doesn't)?

Thanks!

Acufine is not adivided developer. It is a very good "push" developer, "fine grain"
It has a long life by itself though.
IMHO DDX will give you approximately the same look than Acufine, but grain is better in DDX.

Diafin eis a divided developer intended for journalists that could mix all sorts of film into one batch, you mix slutio A and B and then dip the film in each of them for 3 minutes, just be careful not to mix B into A.
The Diaifne look is interesting, restrained highlights and normal grain.

Well, to be technically correct... Diafine is a 2-part compensating developer, not a 'divided' developer. There is a difference.

As to overseas shipping, Huron Camera ships anywhere and their prices are very competitive. Also, they ship via the US Mail, which is less expensive than couriers and also not as subject to customs hassles.
