Found some 3-4 year Neopan 400 in a loader in the closet, and shot it at ISO 640, and then developed in Diafine 3:3 time. About half the film looks fine with clear base ( and good contrast), but the later half (Closest to the core of the film spool, and furthest from center in the developing SS reel) looks a bit hazy, with a darkish "fog". This frame is about where the transition occurred.
The developing temp was approximately 70 Degrees F, I did agitate 5 secs every minute, and actively agitated the Fixer every 30 secs for 5 secs, during the entire fixing period of 5 mins.
*(BTW, I have shot and developed this film in Rodinal last week with not such issues)
So, what could it be ?
1. Tired Fixer ?
2. Incomplete Fixer removal ?
3. Tired Developer ?
4. "Bromide Drag" ?
5. Developing/agitating Technique ?
