Did anyone get their free Kodak yet?

I haven't either, but I can only guess that I was within the first 20,000 people they said they'd send the film to. I'll either get film or junk mail from Kodak...

As I recall, I got in on the deal just in time; actually forgot about it until I tripped over this thread. Hopefully, the film should be in the hopper before too long. (I'm impatient, though...Portra's been my "go-to" color film for a while now, and I want to see what the new stuff's like – one can't take new film introductions for granted these days.)

Looks like some people over at APUG have received their free Portra samples. Aparently it's 160 VC and NC in 135 and 400 VC and NC in 120 film. Can't wait to see the first results!

I got my tube today, with four rolls of 120 size portra films (160NC and VC, 400 NC and VC). I normally shoot slides but I'll take free film; in fact, I'm going to use this stuff for family pictures this Thanksgiving.

The film got to Oklahoma, hey? Y'all really are Sooners! Perhaps Texas won't be far behind!

I think it depends on when you placed your 'order'. Apparently Kodak had prepared about 22'000 sample packages but got around 35'000 orders. If you're not one of the first 22'000 it might take a while for the film to arrive.

Oh yeah, baby ... tube arrived today. All the way from 343 State St. to 126 Catalpa, a whole 5.3 miles! 160NC and 160VC in 35mm, 400NC and 400VC in 120. The only way I have to shoot 120 is the 120 holder for the 4x5. So, I need to haul out the Toyo and Fujinons. Sometimes life is hard.

Better send it to me so that I can make sure that the film was manufactured properly.

By drips and drabs it's trickling out. The first few rolls appeared in Texas yesterday. In the Dallas area. They seem to be working by chunks of zip codes.

I was just wondering if anyone received the 4 free rolls of Kodak film yet? It says it takes 2-3 weeks for the film to arrive. I'm sure the website has been up for more than 2 weeks.

I've seen posts on another site stating it can be found readily on e-bay. I have not checked that out myself but it would not come as a shock if it is true.

Mine came a few days ago. I got three rolls of 36 exp. 35mm and one of 120: 400 NC and VC, 160 VC in 35, 160NC in 120. My only problem now is finding 36 worthwhile shots at a time lol.

Mine just came in too.

I wonder in total how many of these packages Kodak shipped out.

I haven't gotten mine yet, I signed up quite a while ago too.

They probably googled my name, looked at my stuff and said "He ain't s**t, let's send it to someone who can actually shoot"... lol

Amos: I read somewhere (on the net, so you know how reliable THAT is), that they had set aside enough film for about 22,000 responses, but got about 33,000.

Jon: Doubt it ... after all, I got mine! With the response, I'm thinking they're backed up, having to shift inventory around, etc.
