Did anyone get their free Kodak yet?

Jon: What few fotos I have on flickr are crap, so that's not the reason. I was even honest about not being a huge picture taker (so far anyway.)

Trius: Interesting. Maybe that they got more responses than they were prepared to supply is at least some indication that there is still *some* market for film. We'll see.

Amos: I think there is, and I give kudos to Mary Ann Hellyer, VP in charge of all film products, for both getting the R&D done for the formulation, and for this marketing effort. You can be sure a certain CEO wouldn't have made the same decision.

Don't give up hope; mine arrived Monday, a good five or six weeks after I signed up. Like someone else on this thread, I received three rolls of 135 and one 120. Go figure.

Regards,

Charlie

Haven't received mine yet, but who knows... maybe it'll still come. How woul done know if they made the cutoff?

Have faith! Tubes of Kodak Portra are arriving by Pony Express in the Dallas-Fort Worth zip codes this week. Maybe another round of Texas zip codes next week?

The Pony Express may arrive on the Left Coast in 2007.  :D

Received a cellophane taped-up damaged tube filled with only 2 rolls of film - one of them opened. Both were 120, which I no longer shoot. I specified that I needed 135. Kodak spent a lot of $ on this effort. I did not get their money's worth.

vol: Sounds like someone in the postal system did some "inspecting". I would call Kodak and get it replaced.

Hey! I received my film today. The tube was not sealed, but all four rolls made it. I received most of what I requested:
160VC, 400NC, 400VC in 35mm
160NC in 120.

It'll work. I'll have to find my old 620 spools and re-spool it (no 120 camera!).

The distribution process is clearly taking time. Good luck to those still waiting!! :)

I had a great surprise in my mail box today... I was just about getting sick of using the outdated crap I have in my freezer (inconsistent results), but now I won't have to worry for a while! THANKS KODAK !!!

Peter

I got mine a few weeks ago. Maybe towards the end of Dec. I haven't shot them yet tho.

Ok, I had pretty much given up. Then today.......IT ARRIVED.

Finally. I'm happy.

I got the 120. Will shoot some in my newly acquired Hassy kit, maybe some in my Rolleiflex TLR this weekend.

:)

Got mine yesterday as well, 4 rolls of 135. I noticed the $25 off of $125 or more coupon expires today!

I got mine about a month ago. Looking forward to using it. All 35mm except for one roll of 120. That's for the Hasselblad.

What?!? It's alive and well? I thought this was kaput.

I still don't know which secret society I must join to get on the list.

Just receive mine yesterday - two packages with 8 rolls total! I had totally given up. I will give a friend the extra film. Gotta love the rebate coupons!!!
