Most of the lenses I use with my M8.2 (and indeed my M8) work fine, though a UV/IR filter is a good idea if you can get one (slight problem with the pre-WW2 Thambar).
With IR filters, uncoded lenses 28mm and wider may show colour casts in the corners. 35mm lenses vary - never noticed colour casts with 35 Nokton 1.2, but 35 Summicron ASPH showed colour casts.
Put on the ir cut filter on the M8 or M8.2 so the colors come out correctly. (Balck fabrics come out black instead of purple & green foliage comes out green).
Code the lens to have the vingetting appropriately adjusted for in the camera, otherwish you'll get some cyan coloured corners.
If you're going to be doing B&W, then you can get away without the filter adn coding...
The Biogon is a great lens albeit at 2.0 versus something a bit faster.
