Did Tamron make an Adaptall mount for Leica?

No, the Adaptall-2 mounts were dedicated, automatic mounts for SLR cameras.

They were not "adapters" in the sense of adapting one brand of lens to another brand camera mount, they would be more correctly described as interchangable dedicated brand mounts for a "universal" lens body. Like an automatic "t-mount".

So the answer to your question is "no".

You could put a Canon FD Adaptall-2 mount onto an Adaptall lens, then stick that on the Canon Leica screw adapter. In any event, it would not be rangefinder coupled

To bad because I have some great Tamron lenses I could use on my M5 if I could find an Adaptall mount for Leica. Oh well.

The Tamron made, in the past, two different Adaptall-2 adapters for Leica SLR (one manual and one automatic, dedicated to the Leica R cameras). These special adapters, maybe still available (see at italian importer Rossi & C or USA importer for real availability) request another adapter, to mount the bayonet Leica R on the bayonet Leica M, but lack the rangefinder coupling (remain, vice versa, the infinity focus capability). Naturally, this system is good only for the wideangles, used in the hyperfocal focusing.
The same opportunity exist for the Canon FD or Nikon AI Adaptall-2 rings (easier and cheaper to find).
