did the classifieds really just eat my ad?

Ok, just venting here. I spent a good while putting together an ad with pretty pictures for my F3P and MF-4, and after a nice long wait after clicking to post, everything seemed ok - until I went to look for my ad! Not a trace!

I checked to see if there was anything under 'my ads', an ad in the category I was trying to post in that was pending payment - anything - but no luck. Ah well, such is life - maybe the computer REALLY wants me to sell this stuff on eBay or such.

That'd be cool - just a bit frustrating when I'm already going through the general suffering associated with trying to part with gear, y'know? Time to get some sleep, so I'll check again in the morning.

"sykotec"

I just tried searching for an ad under your username, did not find any.

Post back to this thread on the status.

checked this morning, still not there. it seemed to happily accept the submission, but then I believe it put me back on the 'step 1 of 3' page. ah well, such is life. hopefully I'll have time to try again tonight, otherwise eBay it is - I'm pretty sure most everyone here haunts that place entirely too much for their own good

Did the process make it to the point of charging you for the ad?

Can you check your Paypal records?

just checked, nothing on paypal. thanks for checking in though! i'll try again later if i have the time, surely someone needs these toys

Relieved that it did not charge you. I noticed the site was down earlier this week, might have been a glitch. If you do try again, and it does the same thing- I will ask the Admins to look in on it.

Tried again, did the same thing again. I've used/built/maintained such systems many times in the past, and didn't see anything blatantly wrong - until it skipped back to the beginning instead of another step! The pictures I had weren't small, but weren't larger than those I've seen in other ads, and I didn't see a warning. Ah well, such is life - neat F3P and MF-4 on eBay now, maybe I'll try again with smaller pictures for the next round of cleaning later.

Thanks alot for looking in on the process.
