did tintin ever use a camera?

while this is not really about "cameras in the movies", but more a "cameras in the comics" question, i still dare to ask it in this sub-forum.

unfortunately, i left my tintin comic books behind and cannot take a look by myself. so, my question goes: did tintin(*) ever use a (photographic) camera? if yes, what kind of camera was it?

(*) tintin is the young dynamic journalist featured in the comics by herge (georges remy).


edit: in the interest of a broader appeal, we may consider this thread as a quest for the appearance of cameras in comics generally, not only limited to tintin.

Apparently, he used one in Tibet, but lost it later somewhere in Africa - I haven't seen it though.......

Tibet, in the Yeti cave. And he carries what must be either a large format or a motion picture camera with tripod all over "Congo" - the same probably appears in some more in the early "reporter" chain of stories, as I remember images that don't fit the Africa setting, but I'd have to look it up at home, I can't place it exactly enough to find a confirming image on Google.

I clearly remember something that looks closely to an M3 in one of the books. If memory serves, he's spying in some european "palais" garden, before the twin and/or the captain arrives. I think you can see it in two or 3 frames.

Another camera reference in Tintin is in King Ottokar's Scepter when the crooks used a large format camera loaded with spring to launch the scepter out of the castle window.

Man, I love Tintin comics.
