I have a potentially stupid question about this framing-thing🙂
How's it with the RD-1 digi rf? Can you use the LCD to compose, just like on all digitals?

The RD-1 uses the same kind of sensor technology as most DSLRs and this type of sensors does not provide the live video stream needed for LCD preview. (This is not necessarily a bad thing since it avoids the trade-off between high resolution still image performance vs video capture performance during the sensor design process.)
