He was not a bad singer, although he basically translated the songs of Brassens into Italian. He was also irritating to me for his radical chic communist attitude, but that has nothing to do with the music. The shots are not bad, but I would prefer to see them in B&W or if they have necessarily to be in colour, maybe taken much later in the day, this light is too flat ;-).

He was an anarchist, not communist, some of his first songs were translations from Brassens ("canzoni", 1974"), Bob Dylan (Romance in Durango, Desolation Row) and Cohen ("It seems so long ago, Nancy", "Jeanne D'Arc", "Famous Blue Raincoat" for Ornella Vanoni, and "Suzanne"), but he always admitted this.
